What is picosecond laser?
The picosecond laser machine utilizes the explosive effect of
ND:YAG LASER, the laser penetrates the epidermis and enters the
dermis layer, acts on the pigment block and is absorbed by the
pigment. Because the laser pulses are very short in nanoseconds and
have ultra-high energies, the chromophore rapidly expands and
breaks into very fine fragments, which are eliminated
metabolically. In this case, the pigment gradually becomes lighter
and eventually disappears.
